Somewhere as beautiful as Santorini deserves its own post

An eight hour ferry from Athens sees us arrive in Santorini for what will be the last leg of our travels as a threesome (for now). As you can expect the island is amazing; everything you have ever thought and dreamed it would be. From the freshly white painted clay houses billowing up the mountains to the desert terrain to ride ATVs on.   IMG_0491

Santorini at its finest!

This photo is just before we rode donkeys down the mountain, I was screaming like a little girl, all the donkeys were tired together and my donkey was being dragged down the hill haha

Trying to catch a glimpse of the sunset in Santorini is hectic! The sun sets around 8pm but the crowd starts growing from about 6. The view is something I will never forget.

Final night of travel – our hostel hosts suggested a restaurant near by “Santorini Moy”. Jennifer Anniston had dinner there 20 years about and they’re still talking about it (she’s on the business card). Beautiful food, the most amazing atmosphere, traditional Greek dancing and plate smashing if you’re lucky

Sun, sand and a drink in my hand!

Seven days and seven nights on board a boat of 25 young Aussies and Kiwis sailing through the Adriatic ocean was the perfect start to my big adventure through Europe. I met so many people like myself, young travellers looking for a week of fun but also wanting to see the beautiful sights Croatia has to offer.

We went to cave bars, medieval clubs, boat parties and pretty much every where you go you can buy a cocktail bucket for five Aussie dollars. The food was amazing on and off the boat, home cooked meals by mumma on the boat and a whole pizza each for dinner was pretty standard (so good!).

Below are just a few of my snaps from the trip, the eastern European sun is fierce and I was tanned by day two (also had a bad case of sun stroke but was all in good fun)

This sums up my sail post, I know I didn’t write much but I was drunk 80% of the time, also its very painful uploading bulk photos on here.
